pretty darn good. i am ready to fight all the way to become the nominee. i was pleased with our success. obviously we have a strong lead in delegates. we have a strong lead in the number of people who actually voted for our campaign. >> the camp is urging newt to scoot so the anti-romney vote won't be split. he said, quote, there has been poll after poll that shows if rick santorum were to have a one-on-one shot with mitt romney the gingrich supporters go to rick santorum in big numbers. his failure to excite gop voters. try telling that to this young man. >> that was something. let's talk about mitt romney. he just can't put this thing away, can he? >> i think he is getting a bad knock. the giants won the super bowl. what was the final score? >> you know, i don't

have wide latitude. does that change if he is doing fundraising for a political party? >> aren't they all doing fundraising at a certain point, even if they are not headlining an event, isn't rush or anybody drumming up support in anyway they are doing it? >> but rush isn't getting a pass. bill maar is. >> i don't know if that is necessarily true. it depends on who you are listening to. rush has the most recent grafussel and the bill maar was last year he used the c-word. i don't know if he is getting a pass. >> he said a lot of not nice things. part of a comedian's job is to offend. rush who is a radio show host and not an elected official will catch crap and will call for sponsors to leave. should maar be treated the same way? >> i feel like bill mar has

been treated the same way. plenty of people complain about bill mar all the time. >> if he is not being treated the same, who are you defending them to? who are you talking to, andy? >> i am not defending him. >> you said you were defending bill mar in the past. >> people are outraged about the stuff he said. you haven't seen a concentrated effort to for instance tell people, drop hbo or something like that. >> no, i'm sure there has been. and if that would happen you would see him do something. that's the treens between him and -- that's the difference between him and rush. it is not ratings and not sponsors, but it is subscribers. i know they have a liberal agenda, but if people actively said can sell my sub scryings -- subscription, that would happen. but rush is a whole different can of something or other.

>> mar has defended rush. on tuesday he tweeted "hate to defend rush limbaugh, but he apologized. liberals looking bad not accepting. also hate intimidation by sponsor pullout." should rush's apology be accepted and is it intimidation to call for sponsors to pull out or is that the free market at work? >> it is both. it is intimidation, but advertisers are free to make political statements by withdrawing their ads if they want to do that. what i don't understand is why they would want to. you can speak to this as a business person that that is a foolish practice. you know you will alienate half of your potential customer base. i really think you make a good product and sell it and stay out of it. you have counter boycotts where people say, well, i am not buying your product because you are boycotting that show and i support rush. >> right and we see this

rush -- rush. the internet back up companies where you can back up your files on-line, they dropped rush. and their stock on wednesday -- well, on tuesday it took a tumble. people said there was a connection there. does that make sense to you? >> there is a connection. some of these advertisers like aol, i was surprised about it in the first place, especially since they merged with ariana huffington. but i think these guys sit and wait. i think what they are saying is they think the tape onrush is so long lived, sooner or later, the pros outweigh the cons. >> bill, this is the part of the show, and long-time viewers know about this where i tell an anecdote about my life. so i think rewatching the show

, one of the big things on the show is the christian right being upset about the saturday night live show, the studio 60s show within the show. they do sketches called crazy christians and advertisers and affiliates pull out. and they are portrayed as stupid and ignorant for doing this. isn't that exactly what liberals are advocating right now in real life? >> they are advocating that by pulling out -- by telling p cs to pull out from rush? >> yes. >> well, yes. and i have told them many times before, just because you pull out it doesn't mean the show can't get pregnant. the numbers are faulty on that. i like the look you are giving me right now. >> actually make it so i said that before michael. >> here is my thing. not so much with mar, but i do think it is fair to say there is a double standard going on here. he has written hateful things.

he used the b-word. he has do rided other professionals for the way they look. no one has ever said let's boycott rolling stone. jay it is not to say that he doesn't have critics. he definitely has liberal critics in the way he writes and portrays things. he is full of craze he rhetoric and that is rec recognized. >> agreed. and nobody is calling for the sponsors to pull out. there is no campaign to get sponsors to pull out of rolling stone. >> there is no argument that there is something fashionable about momentarily pulling away from rush. i don't think these advertisers will be gone for the long-term. if people stop paying attention they will be back. there is something fashionable about it. >> or that you done tieses should protest him. the guy as harass mouth. those teeth are more gnarled than the 21st century.

must you get hosed by a night at lowe's? a michigan-based movie goer doesn't think so and filed a lawsuit against his local amc theater for charges grossly excessive prices for food and beverages. he paid $8 for a coke and a pack of goobers at the theater, nearly three times what they go for at a nearby

drugstore. that's nearly three times what they go for at a nearby drugstore. and that's when the security technician decided he was mad as hell and not going to eat it anymore. it seeks refunds for him and other customers. a civil penalty against amc and any other relief the judge may grant. maybe free junk or a massage. explains thompson's lawyer, quote, he was tired of taken advantage of. what movie was thompson seeing in the theater that day? we have a clip. kitty and chickee do address a lot of unanswered questions from the first one. but it leaves room for the -- trilogy. they say the lawsuit is a lemon and are going throw it out. >> i go back to market forces

and the prices are absolutely ridiculous. obviously people are not paying them. they wouldn't be charging them if the market wasn't supporting it. the real solution would be for him to try and get everybody to stop buying the snacks. just eat before you go and save the money. nobody was paying that price. >> that is really the one thing you can do to stop them from charging these prices. don't buy the stuff. >> the movie experience is getting worse. the previews are so long i forget what i came to see. but i bring my own food. i will bring a steak to a-vee theater. they come to me and i have a folding table, a steak, i don't care. i will bring my own food to the movie theater. >> and he goes by himself. >> this guy is actually obeying amc's no smuggling snacks into the theater policy. what is wrong with him?

was there a patriotic chant and really a racist rant? after a high school basketball game in san antonio, texas they started yelling, usa! usa! usa! the san antonio edison didn't think this was cool taking it as a racial insult from a school with minority players to a school with mostly white players. they say, quote, this is disrespectful to our students. it is surprising and
